[:en]SCRIPTURE: PSALM 63
“O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, In a dry and weary land where there is no water” (Psalm 63:1)
“I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you” (Psalm 63:4-5)
David wrote this Psalm when he was in the Dessert of Judah. Although he left his comfortable palace and hid in the wilderness, he still had God. God was his water in a dry and weary land. His soul was thirsting for God. He wanted to see God’s love, power and glory. He praised God for satisfying him with the richest of foods, for watching him through the night, for helping him under the shadow of his wings and for upholding him with his right hand. And finally, he was rejoicing in God.
When you are in the wilderness situation, follow what David did. He sought God. He praised God. He was satisfied with God and he rejoiced in God.[:]
