[:en]SCRIPTURE: PSALM 87
“He has set his foundation on the holy mountain; the Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob. Glorious things are said of you, O city of God” (Psalm 87:1-3)
The Hymn “Glorious things of them are spoken, Zion, city of our God” is based on verse 3 of this Psalm. God has a place that He loves – the Zion, city of God. His foundation is in the holy mountain. For all the springs – refreshment, strength, spiritual power come from the heavenly Zion.
Before we can become a citizen of the heavenly Zion, we must believe in the true Almighty God. We must be born again and trust Jesus as our Savior. We must build our spiritual foundation on the Word of God. Then, we shall enjoy the fountain of spring with refreshments, strength and power. And one day we shall walk in the golden street when we meet Him in heavenly home.[:]
