[:en]SCRIPTURE: PSALM 92
“It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Most High, to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp” (Psalm 92:1-3)
“How great are your works, O Lord, how profound your thoughts! ” (Psalm 92:5)
“But you, O Lord, are exalted forever” (Psalm 92:8)
“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God” (Psalm 92:12-14)
The Psalmist taught us how to spend our days:
- Praise the Lord and make music to His name (v. 1)
- Proclaim His love in the morning and His faithfulness at night with music (v. 2)
- Sing for joy at God’s works (v. 4)
- Exalt our Lord! (v. 8)
- Flourish like a palm tree and grow like a cedar of Lebanon (v. 12)
- Bear fruits in old age (v. 14)
- Proclaim that the Lord is upright and that He is my rock (v. 15)
Let us remember the loving kindness and faithfulness of the Lord. Let us offer praise and thanksgiving to Him. As we grow old, try to flourish and be productive by bearing fruits to glorify our God.[:]
