“Deal with your servant according to your love and teach me your decrees. I am your servant; give me discernment that I may understand your statutes” (Psalm 119:124-125)
“Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me” (Psalm 119:133)
“make your face shine upon your servant and teach me your decrees” (Psalm 119:135)
“Your righteousness is everlasting and your law is true” (Psalm 119:142)
“Trouble and distress have come upon me, but your commands are my delight. Your statutes are forever right; give me understanding that I may live” (Psalm 119:143-144)
AYIN (vs. 121-128)
GOD’S COMMAND IS PURE. It has been tested and refined through the furnace. It is more precious and purer than gold, so we can trust in it.
PE (vs. 129-136)
GOD’S STATUTES ARE WONDERFUL. It gives light to this dark and dull world. It is like fresh air, like water, like food that nourishes and satisfies us.
TSADHE (vs. 137-14)
GOD’S LAWS ARE RIGHT. They are fully true and trustworthy. His righteousness is everlasting.
