[:en]SCRIPTURE: PSALM 147
“Praise the Lord. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him!” (Psalm 147:1)
“Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit. The Lord sustains the humble but casts the wicked to the ground” (Psalm 147:5-6)
“Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; make music to our God on the harp” (Psalm 147:7)
“The Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love” (Psalm 147:11)
REASONS WHY GOD IS WORTHY OF PRAISE:
- The Lord builds up Jerusalem and gather the exiles of Israel (v. 2)
- He heals the brokenhearted (v. 3)
- He sustains the humble and casts the wicked to the ground (v. 6)
- He covers the sky with clouds and supplies the earth with rain and makes grass grown on the hills (v. 8)
- He provides food for the cattle and young ravens (v. 9)
- He strengthen the bar of the gates of Israel and blesses them (v. 13)
- He grants peace and satisfies them with the finest of wheat (v. 14)
- He sends his command and word to the earth (v. 15)
- He runs the universe with His word (v. 16-18)
- He reveals His word, laws and decrees to Israel (v. 19)
Let us praise the Lord for His Word. For His Word is powerful. It runs the earth and melts the obstacles. His Word blesses us. So, spend time in the Word of God. Invest your life with His Word and reap a great treasure that bears fruits of blessings.[:]
