[:en]SCRIPTURE: ISAIAH 55
“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near” (Isaiah 55:6)
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways” declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thought” (Isaiah 55:8-9)
“”So is my word that goes out from my mouth; It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11)
“You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands” (Isaiah 55:12)
INVITATION TO THE THIRSTY
- Come all you who are thirsty. Come all you who have no money (v. 1)
- Give ear, come to me and hear my everlasting covenant, faithful love and with you (v. 3)
- Seek the Lord while he may be found. Call on him while he is near (v. 6)
- Forsake your wicked ways and evil thoughts and turn to the Lord for mercy and pardon (v. 7)
- Go out in joy and be led in peace (v. 12)
When we turn away from our sins and trust the Savior, God will give us satisfaction for us to enjoy the water and bread of life. He will fulfill his promise of protection and victories. He will grant us mercy and give us joy, peace and everlasting life. Come, listen and seek Him now!
