“For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake, I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch” (Isaiah 62:1)
“The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory’; for you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will bestow” (Isaiah 62:2)
“You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God” (Isaiah 62:3)
“They will be called the Holy People, the Redeemed of the Lord; and you will be called Sought After, the City No Longer Deserted” (Isaiah 62:12)
ZION’S NEW NAME
Isaiah prayed for the restoration and peace of Jerusalem. The nation shall see His righteousness. His name will be called HEPHZIBAH meaning “My delight is in Her”. Her land will be called Beulah meaning “married”. When God cleansed their sins, the Lord will take delight and rejoice on them. He will reward them and they will be called the Holy People, the Redeemed of the Lord.
It is time to prepare ourselves and be ready for their king is coming to Zion.[:]
