[:en]SCRIPTURE: ISAIAH 63
“For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redemption has come” (Isaiah 63:4)
“I will tell of the kindnesses of the Lord, the deeds for which he is to be praise, according to all the Lord has done for us – ues, the many good things he has done for the house of Israel, according to his compassion and many kindness” (Isaiah 63:7)
When Jesus returns, it will be a day of vengeance and redemption. The first time He came, He was a servant who shed His blood for sinners. But by the second time, He will defeat His enemies and save His people. He will show His loving kindness, goodness, mercy and compassion to His children. In the meantime, Isaiah was praying for His people. He was pleading with God to return and overcome the enemy. He wanted to see the people repented, the temple restored and His name glorified.[:]
