[:en]SCRIPTURE:  EZEKIEL 4

“He then said to me: “Son of man, I will cut off the supply of food in Jerusalem.  The people will eat rationed food in anxiety and drink rationed water in despair, for food and water will be scarce.  They will be appalled at the sight of each other and will waste away because of their sin” (Ezekiel 4:16-17)

God’s judgment against Jerusalem was portrayed by Ezekiel in action sermon.  First, he demonstrated the siege of the city by drawing the city of Jerusalem, putting battering rams around it and placing iron pan between him and the city.  The, he turn his face on his left toward Israel for 390 days and on the right toward Judah for 40 days to show how many days both Israel and Judah had sinned.  During those 14 months and 10 days, Ezekiel had to ration his food and water as what the people in Jerusalem had to do.  the people watched his bizarre behavior day by day and spread the message.
