[:en]SCRIPTURE:  EZEKIEL 9

“While they were killing and I was left alone, I fell facedown, crying out, “Ah Sovereign Lord!  Are you gong to destroy the entire remnant of Israel in this outpouring of your wrath on Jerusalem?”  He answered me, “The sin of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great; the land is full of bloodshed and the city is full of injustice.  They say, “The Lord has forsaken the land;l the Lord does not see.’  So I will not look on them with pity or spare them, but I will bring down on their own heads what they have done.” (Ezekiel 9:8-10)

EZEKIEL SAW THIS VISION:

There were 6 men each with deadly weapon in his hand.  With them was a man clothed in linen who had a writing kit at his side.  The Lord called that man and told him to go throughout the city of Jerusalem to put a mark on the foreheads of those who grieve and lament over all the detestable things.  He told the others to follow him and kill without showing pity or compassion.  They slaughtered all people who has the mark.

As Ezekiel saw it, he cried out tot eh Lord saying:”Ah, Sovereign Lord!  Are you going to destroy the entire remnant of Israel in this outpouring of your wrath on Jerusalem? (v. 8)  The Lord answered: “The sin of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great; the land is full of bloodshed and the city is full of injustice.  So I will not look on them with pity or spare them but I will bring down on their own heads what they have done” (vs. 9-10)

Are you among those people in sins?  Or are you among those so “sigh” and “cry” over the sins of people?  Be like Ezekiel to be interceding and asking mercy from God.
