THOUGHTS:

Babylon symbolizes the whole godless world system yjay caters to the appetites of sinful men and women.  The church has to identify its Babylon and prepared for it.  Let us be concerned about the spiritual and eternal things and not the temporary and the immediate satisfaction.

The merchants in the Roman Empire grew rich by exploiting the sinful desire of their society.  Today, businessmen also take advantages of an evil system to enrich themselves.  Christians must stay  away from the lure of money, status and good life and live according to the values of christ.

Babylon city boasted and said: “I am queen as among them”  They feel secure and in control and no need for God.  Do not love for money.  Keep on guard against greed.  If you are financially secured, do not be proud.  Instead, use your resources to help others and advance God’s kingdom.
