NORTHERN KINGS DEFEATED (vs. 1-23)

Jabin, king of Hazor asked the following to join forces to fight against Israel at the Waters of Merom.

  1. Jobab, king of Madon
  2. Kings of Shimron and Acshaph
  3. Northern kings in Arabah south of Kinnereth, in the western foothills and in Naphoth Dor on the west
  4. Canaanites in the east and west
  5. Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites and jebusites in the hill country

THOUGHTS:

With God’s help, Joshua was able to win the battle and conquer the whole land.  He defeated 31 kings and claimed their land and wealth for the Lord and His people.  Jesus is our Joshua.  He can help us defeat our spiritual enemy so that through Him, we can reign in life and claim the victory.
