THOUGHTS;

God’s words are true and trustworthy.  His word never changes and His promises never left unfulfilled.  We can trust His Word because God is a holy and unchangeable God.  Therefore, we can must trust Him completely.

David said that a nation’s king cannot be saved by the size of his army nor a warrior can escape by his great strength (v. 16).  A horse cannot save itself  based on its strength.  But the Almighty God can deliver us from death if we will trust in Him.

There is no absolute guarantee that all believers will be delivered from death and starvation.  Thousands of Christians have suffered, been persecuted and executed.  God can miraculously deliver his followers from pain and death but sometimes He chose not for purposes unknown to us.  When faced with these harsh realities, we must focus on the wise judgment of God.  In times of crises, place your hope in God.
