SCRIPTURE: PSALM 53
MEMORY VERSES:
“The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good. (Psalm 53:1)
“Everyone has turned away, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.” (Psalm 53:3)
The fool does not believe in God. They become corrupt and exploit people. There are also many people who are practical atheist. They may claim to believe there is a God, but they never do anything good and never call on God. God will ultimately scatter them and put them to shame. For God will restore the fortunes of His people.
THOUGHTS:
The “fools” do not necessarily mean that they lack intelligence. They are atheists and unbelievers who are highly educated but they reject God, the Savior. People say there is no God in order to cover up their sins, to continue sinning or to avoid the judgment.
