THOUGHTS:

This Psalm began with sorrow, prayer and reproach but it ended with singing, praising and rejoicing.  David knew how to pour out his heart to the Lord.  So, no matter how painful your situation may be, tell God all your feelings.  When devastated by death or tragedy, do not despair because you can turn to God and ask Him to save you and help you.  You still shed tears but you will not be crying in vain.

David faced so many problems.  he was scoffed at, mocked, insulted, humiliated and made the object of community gossip.  His only solution was to pray.  Therefore, when you are completely beaten down, never quit trusting God.  Continue to pray and He will rescue you.  When others reject you, God is the most faithful friend you can rely upon.
