SCRIPTURE: PSALM 99
MEMORY VERSES:
“Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his footstool; he is holy..” (Psalm 99:5)
“Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his holy mountain, for the Lord our God is holy.” (Psalm 99:9)
The Lord is holy. He is great and exalted over all nations. He is mighty and just. Among those who called his name were Moses, Aaron and Saul. And He answered them. We have to fear Him, praise Him and worship Him.
THOUGHTS:
This Psalm emphasized the holiness of God. Holiness is frightening for sinners but comforting for believers. For sinners, their sins will be exposed by the light of God’s holiness. But for believers, God’s holiness gives comfort because as they come into His presence in worship, God has forgiven their sins and made holy in Him.
