Our Daily Scripture – 3/14/24

SCRIPTURE:  PSALM  108

MEMORY VERSES:

“I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.  For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.  Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth.” (Psalm 108:3-5)

“Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless.  With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies” (Psalm 108:12-13)

This Psalm is a song of a warrior written by King David.  He praised God with harp and lyre for his love and faithfulness.  He was confident of victory from their enemies – Moab, Edom and Philistines.

THOUGHTS:

Whenever you want to win against your enemies, pray to Him and look for His aid.  With God, we will gain the victory.  God can use our distress as an opportunity to show his mighty power.
