SCRIPTURE: PSALM 123
MEMORY VERSE:
“Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us, for we have endured much contempt. We have endured much ridicule from the proud, much contempt from the arrogant.” (Psalm 123:3-4)
The Jews endured the scorn and contempt of their enemies. They looked to the eyes of the Lord to show them mercy. They looked to the hands of God for his tender care. They looked to God’s Word to give them strength against their enemies.
THOUGHTS:
When you run up against the crowd going in the other direction, be sure to look to God’s eyes, God’s hands, and God’s word and follow His instructions and direction.
