SCRIPTURE: PSALM 138

MEMORY VERSES:

“I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; before the “gods” I will sing you praise.  I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.” (Psalm 138:1-3)

“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me.” (Psalm 138:7)

In the midst of trouble, David continued to worship and praise the Lord.  He witnessed the love and faithfulness of God and exalted His name.  He shared His word and walked in His ways.  God revived David and enabled him to defeat his foes.  He fulfilled His purpose for David and preserved his life.  His love endures forever.

THOUGHT:

Praise and thanks should always be an integral part of our worship to God.  We should praise Him for his omniscience, omnipotent and omnipresence.  Remember to thank Him for your answered prayers, His mercy, comfort, strength protection and provision.
