SCRIPTURE: PSALM 142
MEMORY VERSES:
“I cry aloud to the Lord; I lift up my voice to the Lord for mercy. I pour out my complaint before him; before him I tell my trouble.” (Psalm 142:1-2)
“I cry to you, O Lord; I say, :You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.” (Psalm 142:5)
David was hiding the cave when he wrote this Psalm.
Why did David do?
- He cried aloud tot he Lord and lift up his voice to the Lord for mercy. (v. 1)
- He poured out his complaint and trouble before Him. (v. 2)
- He cried to the Lord to listen to his cry. (v. 5)
- He asked God to rescue him from those who pursued him. (v. 6)
- He wanted God to set him free from his prison. (v. 7)

- God hears your voice and complaints. (v. 1)
- God knows the path you walk. (v. 3)
- God cares for your life. (v. 4)
- God is your refuge and your portion. (v. 5)
- God rescued you from your enemies. (v. 6)
- God restores your freedom. (v. 7)
