“Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment.” (Proverbs 12:18-19)

BENEFITS OF BEING A RIGHTEOUS MAN:
- He obtains favor from the Lord. (v. 2)
- He cannot be uprooted. (v. 3)
- His house stands firm. (v. 7)
- He is praised according to his wisdom. (v. 8)
- His root flourishes. (v. 12)
- He escapes trouble. (v. 13)
- He is rewarded with good things. (v. 14)
- No harm befalls him. (v. 21)
- He has life with the path of immortality. (v. 28)
CONSEQUENCES OF A WICKED MAN:
- The Lord condemns his craftiness. (v. 2)
- He cannot be established through wickedness. (v.3)
- He will be overthrown. (v. 7)
- He is despised of his warped mind. (v. 8)
- He will be plundered by evil men. (v. 12)
- He is trapped by his sinful talk. (v. 13)
- He will be full of troubles. (v. 21)
CHARACTERISTICS OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN:
- He loves discipline and knowledge. (v. 1)
- He has just plans. (v. 5)
- His speech has the power to rescue. (v. 6)
- He cares for the needs of his animal. (v. 10)
- He works his land. (v. 11)
- He listens to advice. (v. 15)
- He overlooks an insult. (v. 16)
- He gives honest testimony. (v. 27)
- His tongue brings healing. (v. 18)
- His truthful lips endures forever. (v. 19)
- He promotes peace (v. 20)
- He keeps his knowledge to himself. (v. 22)
- His hands are diligent. (v. 24)
- He cheers up people with kind words. (v. 25)
CHARACTERISTICS OF A WICKED MAN:
- He hates correction. (v. 1)
- He has deceitful plans. (v. 54)
- His words lie in wait for blood. (v. 6)
- His kindest acts were cruel. (v. 10)
- He lacks judgment and chooses fantasies. (v. 11)
- He considers himself right. (v. 13)
- He shows his arrogance at once. (v. 16)
- He tell lies and give false witness. (v. 17)
