Biblical Truth: Satan tempted Jesus three times when he was tired, alone and hungry from fasting. He used the areas of physical needs (v. 3), security (v. 6), power and pride (v.s 8-9) to tempt Him. But Jesus replied him with the Word of God and succeeded in overcoming them.
Personal Application: Satan will also use many ways of temptation for us to fall into sin. We have to rely on God’s Word and strength to resist the enemy. Are you reading His Word everyday?
Prayer: Dear Lord, please protect us from Satan’s attack. May your precious Word be our guide to be victorious against the devil.[:]
