SCRIPTURE: ISAIAH 12
MEMORY VERSES:
“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.” (Isaiah 12:2)
“Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make know among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted.” (Isaiah 12:4)
‘Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.” (Isaiah 12:5)
SONG OF PRAISE (VS. 1-6)
HOW TO PRIASE THE LORD?
- Give thanks to the Lord. (v. 4a)
- Call on his name. (v. 4b)
- Proclaim that his name is exalted. (v. 4c)
- Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things. (v. 5a)
- Let this be known to all the world. (v. 5b)
- Shout aloud and sing for joy, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you. (v. 6)
We should praise God because He gives us the following:
- His comfort (v. 1)
- His salvation (v. 2a)
- His protection (v. 2b)
- His strength (v. 2b)
- His joy (v. 3)
THOUGHTS:
We have to express our gratitude to God by giving thanks to Him. We must praise Him and tell others about what He has done. We must share the Good news to the people.
