THOUGHTS;
Despite of the sins committed by the Israelites, God still loved them as a Father and shepherd. He comforted them and promised them with a new covenant. All of us has also committed many kinds of sins. But God reaches us with kindness motivated by His everlasting love. God will forgive you if you turn back to Him.
God wrote the 10 commandments on the Tablets of Stone. But it was broken by people. So God replaced a new covenant with his laws engraved in the hearts of men. The foundation of this new covenant is Christ. Today. this covenant is here. We have the wonderful opportunity to make a fresh start and establish a permanent personal relationship with God.
