THOUGHTS:
During their trials, God assured a glorious future as a stimuli to holy living. A detailed description of God’s temple was written to emphasize God’s holiness. The Most Holy Place was the inmost room of the temple. This was where the Ark of Covenant was kept and where God’s glory will dwell. Only the high priests were allowed to enter once a year to perform a ceremony to atone for the nation’s sin.
