THOUGHTS:
In verse 9, it says that there was a righteous king with salvation riding in a donkey. This was fulfilled when Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem. Verse 10 will be fulfilled when Jesus returns and set up His kingdom. In the future, God will deliver His people and gather the scattered flock. He will put jewels in crown and assemble a conquering army to have victory over evil. At that time, all nations will submit to Christ and He will extend his rule over the whole earth. Then every knee shall bow to Christ and every tongue will confess that He is the Lord. (Phil. 2:10-11)
