[:en]David wrote this Psalm when the Philistines had seized him in Gath. He was in fear but in the midst of his fear, he still trusted the Lord (v. 2) As a result, God protected and delivered him. He ended with thank offerings (v. 12)
This is a precious verse for us to keep it by heart. It is being mentioned twice in verses 3-4 and verses 1011:
“In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?[:]
