[:en]Thoughts from Psalm 57[:]

[:en]This Psalm was written when David had fled from Saul into the cave.  While in cave, he did two things.  He prayed to God and he praised God.  He prayed for God’s protection “I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings, until the disaster has passed” (v. 1).  He praised God for his glory:  “Be exalted O God, above the heavens let your glory be over all the earth” (v. 5).  In spite of being in the midst of lion with sharp teeth (v. 4) and under a net and pit (v. 6), his heart remained steadfast in His love and faithfulness.  “For Great is your love reaching to the heavens’ your faithfulness reaches to the skies (v. 10)

Are you in a
cave” or under siege?  Try David’s way of praying and praising.  Surely, God will protect and intervene for you according to His purpose in your life.[:]
