Biblical Truth: There are 2 parallel parables describing the Kingdom of Heaven. The first one is about buried treasures and the second one is about fine pearls. These parables would imply the cost of following Jesus and the cost of discipleship. However, it also teaches us to store treasures of understanding His Word, discernment and spiritual growth to maturity (Heb. 5:13)
Prayer: Dear Lord, help us not to look for treasures of this world but the real hidden treasure in You that will last in eternity.[:]
