[:en]Thoughts from Psalm 88[:]

[:en]The Psalmist was experiencing difficult days in his life.  His soul was full of trouble and his life drew near the grave.  (v. 3)  He was without strength and cut off from God’s care. (vs. 4-5)  His closest friends departed from him and he was suffering in grief. (vs. 8-9a).  But the psalmist did not cease to pray (v. 9b).  He cried for help to the Lord (vs. 13-14) and  look to God in faith.

When you are experiencing a difficult times, start your day with God in prayer and draw strength from His Word.  Focus your eyes on Him.  He will deliver you and see you through your affliction.[:]
