[:en]Paul, Silas and Timothy went to Thessalonica and preached the gospel but the Jews were jealous of them. They formed a mob and rushed to Jason’s house to bring them out. But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason out because he had welcome them. Then Paul and Silas went to Berea. The Bereans were of noble character and they received the message with eagerness. Later, Paul proceeded to Athens. He preached about the resurrection of the dead and a few men became followers of Paul. Among them were Dionysius, a member of the Areopagus, and a woman named Damaris.[:]
