[:en]Thoughts from Psalm 137[:]

[:en]This was how the Isarelites felt when they were exiles in Babylon.

  1.  They were weeping because their sins caught up with them (v. 1)
  2. They lost their songs (vs. 2-4)
  3. They wanted revenge (vs. 7-9)

This can also serve as an inventory of our spiritual life.  Are you in sorrow or with joy?  Have you confessed your sins?  Can you sing praises to God at all times?  Do you want to take revenge or leave judgment to the Lord?[:]
