Biblical Truth: James 3:10-11 says “Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing… this should not be…… Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? Words are very powerful. It can make or break a person. It has the power of life and death. It can either bring people to God or draw them away from Him.
Personal Application: Whenever you want to speak, ask these 3 questions: (1) Is it necessary to say it? (2) Is it beneficial to the listener? (3). Will it glorify God? Use your speech as a weapon to bring light and righteousness to this dark and evil world.
Prayer: Father, teach me what to say, how to say and when to say the right words.[:]
