[:en]Thoughts from “Our Daily Bread” (3/26/17)[:]

[:en]When Joshua was about to bid farewell to the leaders,  he encouraged them to be strong and be careful to obey the Law of Moses.  He reminded them not to follow or bow down to the gods of other nations but to hold fast to the Lord.  He challenged them with this:  “Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve.  But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15).  They all responded to choose to worship the Lord with action to throw away foreign gods.

*Do your words, actions and attitudes show that you have chosen to serve the Lord?*[:]
