Biblical Truth: During the time of Job, there was no doctrine about resurrection in Israel. And yet Job had an amazing faith when he declared: “I know that my Redeemer lives and … after my skin has been destroyed … I myself will see Him with my own eyes” (Job 19:25-27) Job had a tremendous faith that death was not the end and God will vindicate Him.
Personal Application: Can you confidently declare your faith in God despite of the pain of rejection, loss of honor, deterioration of health and depletion of weatlh?
Prayer: Dear Lord, strengthen my faith in you despite of whatever circumstance I am facing now. Thank you for your promise that one day, I can see you face to face.[:]
