[:en]Thoughts from “Our Daily Bread” (10/09/17)[:]

[:en]Music is a universal language.  It touches the senses and emotions of people and is appreciated in different ways.  All believers are members of God’s orchestra.  But we often hear only the music closest to us.  When Job was suffering, all he heard was only sad notes.  “Now those young men mock me in song.  I have become a byword among them” (Job 30:19).  My harp plays sad music (Job 30:31)

Today, you may only hear the sad notes of a violin or you are listening to a cheerful flute.  Remember that God is the composer of your life.  You are  playing a symphony of His masterpiece of redemption.  If what you hear is a sad note, don’t lose heart because every detail in your life is part of God’s composition.  If you are listening to a cheerful flute, praise God and share your joy with someone.  When your life seems discordant or out of tune, trust Him.  His son is perfect.  He is the strength of your song. (Isa. 12:2)[:]
