[:en]It is God who made us and formed us in the womb. He will help us and provide our need. (vs. 1-4). He is the first and the last; apart from Him, there is no God (v. 6). Those who made idols will be put to shame and brought down to terror and infamy (v. 11). Those who worship and bow to an idol, their bodies may feast on excellent food (v. 16) but their souls feed on ashes (v. 20).
The Lord will not forget you. He will swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. All you have to do is to return to Him. (vs. 21-22)
The Almighty God promised to rebuild Jerusalem and lay the foundation of the temple. He will restore their ruins by using Cyprus, a pagan ruler to accomplish His purpose (vs. 24-28)
