[:en]Oswald Chambers served as a YMCA chaplain to British Commonwealth troops during World War 1. He was assigned to a camp at Zeitoun, six miles north of Cairo. The area was like a desert and foreign to the men. But Charles considered that as an opportunity that God engineered. He trusted the Lord with all his heart and watched with interest the new things God will do. (Prov. 3:5-6)
Sometimes you have become so attached to your plans that you resist God’s redirection. Instead of resisting or complaining, you should submit to His leading. Pour out your wholehearted devotion and serve Him with all your heart. Trust Him to direct your path, for your destiny is under His control.[:]
