[:en]Thoughts from “Our Daily Bread” (10/19/17)[:]

[:en]The daughter of James Banks ran away from home when she was 15.  She was gone for more than 3 weeks and those were the longest period of James’ life.  He and his wife sought help from law enforcement and friends to look everywhere.  When  they had come to the end of strength and resources, they prayed and waited on the Lord.  She was finally found on a Father’s Day in a restaurant.  She was brought home safe and sound.

As you pray, the Lord may not immediately answer you.  You have to wait, believe, persevere and hope until God’s time.  Waiting is never easy, but God has His purpose for you to learn patience.  “Those who know your name, trust in you.  For you Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you”  (Ps. 9:10).  Keep praying and keep trusting.[:]
