Biblical Truth: God appeared to Abraham in Mesopotamia and called him to an unknown land of promise while Terah settled in Haran. After Terah died, God spoke again to Abraham commanding him to move on to Canaan with Sarai, his baren wife and Lot, his fatherless nephew. Despite of human failures, God was still working out His intention and purpose to His creation.
Personal Application: We are created in God’s image but are fallen sinners in need of redemption and transformation. So God gives us hope by sending Jesus Christ to redeem and save us. Let us accept the gift of salvation so that we can enjoy eternal life.
