[:en]Thoughts from “Our Daily Bread” (11/20/17)[:]

[:en]Paul preached that salvation is by grace through faith alone.   But some Jewish Christians believe that the Gentiles must be circumcised to be truly saved.  They accused Paul of being a self-appointed apostle and his gospel was never approved by the apostles. (Gal 2:1-10)

Despite the pressure, he stood firm to his conviction because he knew he was serving Christ not men.  So his goal was not to win the approval of people but of God. (Gal. 1:10)

As Christ’s servant, our main concern is to please God.  So no matter how people will say or do, be courageous and be faithful to His Word.  All we need to hear our Savior say is: “Well done, good and faithful servant” (mat. 25″:23)[:]
