[:en]What is mean by the third commandment “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God”?

1. When you attach God’s name to a swear word
2. When you use His name flippantly or irreverently
3. When you reject the advice of others and use His name to seek approval for your own desires
4. When you use Scripture out of context to try to support an idea you believe in
5. When you teach, write or speak from Scripture carelessly
6. When you speak of God in a way that emptied Him of His significance.

Let us honor God’s name and use His Word carefully and accurately.[:]
