[:en]Satan, also known as the dragon, that ancient serpent will be bound for a thousand years. He will be thrown into the Abyss and locked and sealed until the thousand years were ended. After that, he will be set free for a short time.
The first resurrection will be from those who have been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. The second death has no power over them. They came to life and will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. (vs. 4-6)
When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released and will go out to deceive the nations. They gather together and marched across to the camp of God’s people. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur and suffer torment day and night forever and ever.
And there was a great white throne where the dead standing before the throne and books were opened. The book of life was opened. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the book. If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. (vs. 11-15)
