[:en]Thoughts from Genesis 31[:]

[:en]Jacob, together with Rachel and Leah and all his children fled  from Laban.  Rachel stole her father’s household god and brought it along.  Laban pursued Jacob and asked him why did Jacob stole his gods.  Jacob allowed him to search but they did not find it because Rachel put them inside her camel’s saddle and sat on them.  Then Laban and Jacob made a covenant:   Jacob must not mistreat his daughters nor take any wives beside his daughters.  So they set a heap and  a pillar as witness not to harm each other.  Jacob took an oath in the name of Fear of his father Isaac and offered a sacrifice in the hill country.  After that, Laban kissed his grandchildren and his daughters and blessed them.  Then he left and returned home.[:]
