[:en]Life’s tragedy can come in many forms – the loss of a loved one, an illness, the loss of wealth or livelihood, broken relationships, separation, accidents, etc. And it can happen to anyone at any time.
When Prophet Habakkuk knew that tragedy was coming, his heart pounded, his lips quivered, and his legs trembled. (Hab. 3:16) But as Habakkuk recounted how God had worked in history, it gave him the courage to move on by choosing to praise the Lord (Hab. 3:18)
Fear is a legitimate emotion in the face of tragedy. When you don’t understand the trials you are going through, remember that God, who has proven Himself faithful throughout the years is always with you. You can say with confidence: “The Lord is my refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble” (Ps. 46:1-2)[:]
