[:en]Have you ever noticed that we tend to focus on what is negative than the positive? Humans can quickly see what’s wrong than what’s right. We are more likely to remember rudeness than kindness. Crimes seem to receive more attention than acts of generosity. And disasters grab our attention more quickly than the profound beauty all around us.
This is also true in our spiritual realm. We tend to focus on what God has not done rather than on what He has. We complain on what God has not given us rather than on what we already have.
As we read the book of Job, Job suffered a series of disasters and those became the focus of his life. But God intervened and reminded him of His sovereignty and of everything Job did not know and had not seen (Job 38-40)
Stop focusing on the negative and take notice of the wonders God had done. Keep a “THANKS” journal and write down each day one thing God has done for you.[:]
