[:en]Micah’s family was devoted to idolatry. He installed his sons as priests. The mother spoke curses and blessings and told his son to make a carved image and a cast idol. (vs. 1-4). The young Levite was more guilty then they were. He was a hireling instead of a God’s servant. He took the better offer from Micah to become his priest.
