[:en]God commissioned Jonah to go to Nineveh and preach repentance, but Jonah ran away and headed for Tarshish. As a result he was swallowed by a fish for 3 days and 3 nights. From inside the fish, Jonah prayed to the Lord, and the Lord commanded the fish to vomit Jonah into the dry land.
