[:en]Thoughts from “Our Daily Bread” (8/1/18)[:]

[:en]When we were young, we want to grow up.  As we grow older, we yearn for the past, wanting to be young again.  But when we walk with God, whatever our age does not matter because the eternal God is our refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms. (Deut. 33:27)

Moses was 80 years old when he led His people free from slavery.(Exo. 3:13)  He witnessed miracles seeing the Red Sea part, the manna feel from heaven and spoke with God “face to face” (Exo. 14:21, 16:4. 33:11)  Moses  lived for 120 years and throughout his life, he lived expectantly, looking ahead to what God would do. (Heb. 11:24-27).

Let us have a thankful heart for what God had done for us in the past.  Let us look forward with hope to what God will do for us in the future.  If we walk with God, the best is yet to come.[:]
