Cade Pope, a 12 year old boy from Oklahoma mailed out 32 handwritten letters one to each Football League (NFL) team in the U.S. But only Jerry Richardson, owner of the Carolina Panthers responded with a handwritten note of his own and invited him to become their team. Not surprisingly, Cade became a loyal fan of the Carolina Panthers.
David’s allegiance was to the one true God. When he was in distress, he called God and God answered him. For him, there was none other gods like Him (Ps. 86:7-8).
